SANGA is a philanthropic Organisation working for the welfare of the society since its establishment. The Organisation takes up various activities in the field of Social, Economic, Cultural and Educational for the advancement of weaker sections of the society living in the state. It has taken up various projects on preservation of environment, sustainable development, livelihood, education, rural housing, women and child welfare and small scale industries and has been working for the social and economic upliftment of the people since its establishment.

We have provided provisions for free coaching to matriculate and higher secondary students, organized free medical camps to people under BPL, one day workshops for employment generation programs to rural youths under capacity building programs. Teach basic computers and organized coaching classes for job opportunities in Private Sectors.

  • SANGA was founded on 10th of February, 1993 having Registration No. 506 of 1993 under Registration of Society, Manipur (MSR Act -1989).
  • The Organisation has been registered under Foreign Contribution (Regulation)Act, Vide Regd. No. 194160061 Dated 17th July, 2003. Under section 12A of Income Tax Act vide notification No. OC-12A/CIT/JRT/2003-04/2923-25 dated 23rd March, 2005 and under section 80G of Income Tax Act vide Notification no. OC-496/80G/CIT/JRT/2011-12/1643-48 dated 29th April, 2011.
  • SANGA has more than 1,000 nos. of skilled artisans who are engaged in Handicrafts in its area of operation and these beneficiaries are given free health care under RGSSY and given LIC schemes; Am Admi Bima Yojana having Policy number of 410000509, under this scheme, nominees of its beneficiaries will benefit upto Rs. 15 lacs on accidental death and upto Rs. 40,000/- on the occasion of normal death.
  • The Organisation has utilized internet facility to provide daily access to its beneficiaries.

In the field of Education, SANGA has the following objectives:

  • Basic emphasis on good and quality education for educationally backward sections of the society.
  • To provide free-of-cost education and its related facilities to children of families living below poverty line.
  • To enable school dropouts to continue their academic pursuits halted by conflagration, parental negligence, poverty, absence of educational facilities etc.
  • To enhance quality education by using modern method of teaching.
  • To mould them into good and respectable persons active participation in socio-economic development.
